While the first reviews of the GeForce RTX 3080 and 3090 still need to go live, the web never stops.
This round the chatter for today is the GeForce RTX 3060, a Ti model allegedly
While the GeForce RTX 3080 will start selling next week, and the GeForce RTX 3090 the week following you will see the RTX 3070 in October.
Things aren't ending there though. if you look at the most used graphics cards in the Steam database you'll notice the 1060 and 2060 series pop up.
Ergo Nvidia will be really happy to have a series 30 counterpart available.
Not just that, in the October and November time frame there's also AMD, introducing their Ryzen 4000 (Vermeer) series processors based on Zen3 architecture and with merely a few weeks later the Radeon RX 6000 series.
As it seems somewhere in that same timeframe, we might see yet another RTX 30, the GeForce RTX 3060 Ti.
Videocardz is writing that NVIDIA has informed AIBs that the plan is to release RTX 3060 Ti in the second half of October.
The specifications were also provided and yeah, no more SUPER, the Ti is back.
The GeForce RTX 3060 Ti would get fitted with a GA104-200 GPU that would hold 4864 shading cores.
Interesting is the memory configuration as it will no longer hold 6GB, but 8GB of GDDR6 / 14.0 Gbps (448 GB/s bandwidth).
There is currently no confirmation on this news, but it is an interesting rumor alright.
