Хотелось бы найти сетку (Grid) в которой можно установить автоматическую высоту ячейки. Проблема в том, что при выводе в ячейку текста по длине превышающего ширину ячейки, компоненты, которые я попробовал просто обрезают текст вместо переноса слов в следующую строку и увеличения высоты. Естественно, можно написать функцию, которая в соответствии с введенным текстом рассчитает его длину в точках и скорректирует высоту ячейки, но учитывая, что строк будет огромное количество, пересчет их высот функцией займет очень большое кол-во времени в тактах... Подскажите, пожалуйста, компонент, который смог бы выполнить эту задачу самостоятельно (без моего вмешательства) путем изменения некоторых свойств, например...

cxGrid из DevExpress тебе поможет. Там есть опция AutoHeight

I installed DevExpr_21_mar_2008 but there are problems with both delphi 7 and delphi 2007.
Delphi 7 when it is closed by a reporting error.
In Delphi 2007 when loading a project indicates dclcxSchedulerD11.bpl not found.
We must close and reopen the project and everything works OK.
Someone found the same problems?

тебе совершенно бесплатно пришлют лицензионный ключ.
правда придется зарегистрироваться, ну придумаешь уж имя себе и компании, почту, правда работающую указать придется, но опять таки можно специально под это почтовый ящик завести. При регистрации серийные номера Delphi указывать не надо. Однако надо иметь "правильно" сломанную Delphi (через замену sanctuarylib.dll и d2007.slip)

Прекрасно работает, проверено на себе дважды.
